(16) Hire a holistic athletic trainer
Consider working with a holistic athletic trainer. If you are an athlete, you might benefit from the experience of working with a holistic trainer who focuses not only on injury recovery, but also on performance analysis, counseling and injury prevention. Through the holistic approach, your mental and physical needs will be addressed and you can improve your performance significantly as a result.
(17) Try hypnosis to find answers
Although there are many different schools of hypnotherapy over the years, they all center around the idea that in an altered states of consciousness you can find and resolve issues within yourself that you were not able to realize in your conscious state. The main goal of hypnosis then is to provide a short-term therapeutic process that can help the patient confront these issues that they were unable to face in their conscious mind. Then they can begin to find permanent solutions to the problems that they are facing.
(18) Get lasting allergy relief
If you are an allergy suffer, you already know the frustration you get from medications that just don’t work. Sure, they may mask symptoms temporily, but they are not going to provide you any lasting relief. Homeopathic allergy treatment is different. Instead of treating the symptoms, the goal is to strengthen the body to a point where it can resist the allergens that are causing the symptoms. While there are treatments available for the symptoms, a patient can expect to be given medications to strengthen the immune system and create a natural defense.
(19) Perform the healing power of love
Love conquers all. Many holistic practitioners believe that there is no more powerful medicine than love and that simply giving or receiving affection such as a hug can raise the spirits and begin to heal the body. If you are suffering from grief of any sort, love may be all you need to start the healing.
(20) An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
Try to eliminate the things that cause you health problems, instead of trying to treat the symptoms. For example, if you are suffering from indigestion it makes more sense to eliminate the foods that are causing the problem than it does to take antacids after the pain starts. Holistic healers are looking to heal the whole body, and therefore it is believed that your first first step is to eliminate the things that are causing you harm. Next, you replace those things with nutrients, etc. that are better for you. This can apply to the body, as well as the mind and the soul.

(23) Listen to your dreams to resolve inner conflicts
Dreams can tell you a lot of information that you might not otherwise realize. Therapists believe that through our dreams, we become aware of personal struggles, fears and internal conflicts. Consider keeping a dream journal, where you record at least the major themes of what you are dreaming. Do this as soon as you can after waking, so that you make sure to get the essence of your dreams. Pay attention to patterns, serial dreams and symbols that seem to reappear often. Find out what these things represent to you by meditating on the symbol or theme, or look them up in a dream dictionary for the generally accepted explanation. While this may not represent the meaning for you, it will give you a place to start.
(24) Improve your diet for a healthier skin
Ask any Holistic specialist who deals with dermatological problems, and he will tell you that most skin problems are related to the foods you eat; and the quality and amount of nutrients that you take into your system. He will also point at food based toxins that seem to be keeping your skin from functioning effectively. Considering that the liver is responsible for filtering most toxins out of the body, one possible treatment that might be suggested is liver detoxification.
(25) Avoid foods with supplements
Holistic nutritionists do not recommend supplements for the sake of adding more nutrients. You should try to obtain the nutrients you need through the foods that naturally contain them. And, if you require supplements, you are far better off just taking supplements. One nutrient that seems to be added to everything these days is calcium. The amount of calcium being added to products like orange juice is so minimal that it really will not help you to overcome a deficiency.

Most people will honestly tell you they don't drink nearly enough water. In fact, they have no idea of the amount of water they drink throughout the course of a day.
